Onboarding development: succes from the start

An individual program for experienced managers and professionals about half way through their career. Who definitely want to make a success of their (new) role by actively developing their environment and themselves.

In doing so, we 'spin' on two sides in parallel.

  • Success in the role: strengthens their focus on their goals, their stakeholder management and their effective handling of the pressures this position brings.
  • Self-awareness: creates visibility and gets to work on where they are (less) strong and energized, so that even under pressure they do continue to develop personally, now and in the future.

This is my way of doing everything possible to ensure their success, especially when they are asked to do something new to them and the pressure is high.

Someone lands in one of your strategic management positions in a new role or situationon, which really demands something different from them.

And especially when both the cost of failure and the pressure to perform are high from the start.

Which means you want to do everything you can to safeguard their success, while they actually have hardly any time for intensive guidance.

Because the costs of failure are high in a strategic position, as is the pressure to integrate and perform quickly.

And we know what happens under pressure: people tend to focus on what they know and what they are good at, while it is equally important to develop other/new skills.

Using a number of practical tools, we analyse their situation:

  • Their new role and the expectations.

  • Their background, motivation and strengths/weaknesses.

  • Where they are now and what they want to achieve.

We then translate this into concrete actions and a personal development plan, on which we actively coach. Everything is focused on their success and development in this position and beyond.

Program onboarding development

Schematically: the complete program looks as follows, which can be further customized in a modular way.

Financial: I charge a fixed all-in fee for the entire program or a pro-rata portion thereof, with a minimum of €4,000.
